5 Benefits of a Global Talent Mindset

1. Expertise: ERP and accounting acumen are hard to find in the same person locally, and adding in advanced automation? Good luck. People across the world are skilled in data analytics, advanced automation, ERP, and accounting. It's still competitive, but you're opening up additional possibilities when you search globally.

2. Diversity: Study after study has shown that diverse teams get better results. It can add time to overcome language or cultural barriers, but you will gain additional perspective and richness on your team.

3. Culture: I personally enjoy working on my Spanish, so working with teammates in El Salvador was always fun, as an example. I loved seeing pictures of their beautiful country and dream of spending time with my family abroad someday for cultural immersion and learning the language.

4. Time Zone: Once you get past initial training and are in sync, teammates in opposite time-zones can complete projects while you're sleeping, shortening both internal and external client projects.

5. Leverage: For those in the US, because some other regions are less expensive, you may be able to hire faster - before you'd be able to afford to hire locally. This can accelerate your company's growth, and enable you to remain competitive on prices to clients, while lowering hours requirements across the board. Reducing burnout and turnover for your team overall is priceless!
